Thank you for taking the time to visit my professional portfolio. I have been teaching for nine years, and loved my time thus far. Being certified in both elementary and special education has allowed me to reach out to each of my students in a unique and personal way. I feel blessed that my career has afforded me the opportunities to teach preschool through eighth grade, and I have gained so much insight from each grade. Many of my classroom activities revolve around meeting the four learning styles: auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic. I have numerous behavior management strategies and believe that keeping students engaged in the learning is the best way to keep them on task.
