Bulletin Boards
I enjoy changing my bulletin board on a regular basis so it reflects either the season or activities that will be done in the classroom.
September: See What's Cooking in Kingertarten
December: Christmas means a little bit More!
Here is a display of a famous scene from Dr. Seuss' The Grinch who Stole Christmas. The students loved decorating themselves as members of Whoville!
March: Seussville
This board coordinated with a week long tribute to Dr. Seuss. The students ate green eggs and ham, authored their own goofy story, and read many of Dr. Seuss' works.
Figurative Language Wall
6th grade students dove into the world of figurative language. Here, they had to describe themselves using only similes and metaphors.

April: Space
This board coordinates with our fun, fascinating and fact-filled study of Space! This is one of our favorite units of the year!

Beginning of the Year

Prove it!
Because providing evidence is a critical skill that needs practice, this board provides ideas for how to accomplish this task!
